Cancer research at DTU

A joint cancer research project at DTU, Rigshospitalet, and Bispebjerg Hospital has received 90,000 DKK for equipment from The A.P. Møller Foundation for the Advancement of Medical Science

Associate Professor MSK Ph.D. Helge B.D. Sørensen from the Biomedical Engineering Group at DTU will be heading the technological aspect of the project with the objective of developing a non-invasive monitoring system for prediction of critical disease in cancer patients and prevention of adverse events such as cardiac arrest or intensive care hospitalization due to cardiac or surgical complications after cancer procedures.
